second post for today

I know this is my second time posting in the same day but literally the only reason I will ever do that is if my first one was at the wee early hours of the morning...like, one o'clock, which is my case.

Anyway though! I wanted to talk about my day.

I had a really awesome day.

First, I took one of my old Cross-Country/Track girl friends to the OMSI to see the Dinosaur Expo. It was pretty legit. I love Dinosaurs...I have no idea why. I also like the digging-in-the-fake-sand-for-the-fossils unit they had there. It's amazing how something that's meant for children can amuse me to the extent that it has. 

Also, it was super cool because they would move and make sound. How could anyone not have a good time in a place like this? Seriously. Haha

THEN...we went to brunch at the Suzette Creperie, where I tried lavender lemonade, an asparagus crepe (actually, my first time having a crepe at all), and a super rich, fancy dessert. My friend is not very open to trying new food so she thought it was all gross, but I like trying new things, so I was feeling quite adventurous there. 

Later in the day, my friend, Stone, invited me to go to North Fork with him and a bunch of my friends from home, so I went. It's cool because this place is absolutely beautiful and it's crazy that I can call all of this home.

Nonetheless, the water was FREEZING. But we had a good time. A lot of people jump off the cliff...and I wasn't feeling that. I took out all my adventurous-ness on brunch. Maybe another time. :)

That was my day. I'm glad I made it through the heat and still had fun. Usually when it's this hot I stay inside because I literally melt in the heat. Literally. No, not literally.
